The A. family and their new arrival

It was a cold day. The sun was out and the wind wasn't too brutal. The A family got on their coats and we scurried outside. The girls warmed the cold day up with their genuine smiles and giggles. They took their coats off and grinned their biggest. After we got the family shot we headed indoors for a few more photos indoors.

These two boys have three big sisters to look out for them and keep them in check. It's fun to watch them interact together. Lily (in green) has the most precious expression as she carefully holds her baby brother.

Little Red Riding Hood

My Aunt and Mom like to take a weekly walk at the park. My Aunt Jaime had made a darling cape for her little girl. She wanted some photos of her in it, so we decided to take them on our walk. We found the perfect spots to convey the story of little red riding hood. Emmie played the part just right. She was more well behaved than usual and posed like a pro! I am quite pleased with the results. You can see on my aunt's blog how to make your own cape here.

Fall

Tea, coffee, and hot drinks are something I look forward to this season. Don't forget the sweaters, pumpkin pies, apple pies, soups and warm holiday traditions. What do you like best about fall?

Bread Study

There is so much that can be done with a ball of dough. Warm and alive bread dough is fascinating. It's a mix of air, yeast, flour, heat. Each does it's part to create a pliable and workable dough that will transform into anything that the baker can imagine.

Emmie Photo Shoot

Here's my little cousin at six months. She is just too cute for words. She is wiggly, squishy, and loves her Mommy. We were able to shoot more early in the morning at Emmie's really happy time.

The A. Family

On a Sunday after church I got the A. family together. You probably can't tell here, but it was extremely cold! I got everything set up and had them run out, take their coats off, pose and quickly get their coats back on. They were very patient with me. Aren't their girls and son adorable?!
I love them.

The S. family

Here is the S. and A. family. My Aunt, Uncle and cousins. My aunt coordinated the colors and outfits. She did a great job. I took their photos in our yard on thanksgiving, too. My little cousin Emmie is growing up so fast and she is adorable! She's a sweetie and a Momma's girl. Don't you just love the nature foliage?
